Newborn Baby Found Dead Inside Freezer In Back of Yards
Newborn "Baby Flores" discovered dead at 4700 block of South Damen, Police Investigating.
Chicago Police are investigating the death of a newborn baby that was found in a freezer overnight on the South Side of Chicago.
Officers responded to the scene at the 4700 block of South Damen on Tuesday at midnight, discovering the infant to be unresponsive. Stroger Hospital pronounced the victim dead.
CPD Area One detectives are investigating any circumstances that have involvement in the newborn's death.
The child was identified as "Baby Flores," according to the medical examiner's office. The child's gender and age are unknown, as well as whether the child was born prematurely.
